Hi and welcome, thanks for stopping by.
Well what can I say about me? I'm a mum of two beautiful girls, a wife, a business woman, a daughter, a horsewoman and all-round creative, living in Drouin, Victoria. II could draw horses before I could write my name and I got my first pony at age 5 and I've had horses in my life ever since. Art and horses has been a passion all my life and I used to draw them in pastel before i picked up a camera. My mum bought my first SLR when I was in my early 20's so I could take my own images to draw. Let's just say I completely fell in LOVE with photography! I've spent the last 3 decades or so building my skills and perfecting my craft to become who I am today.
My favorite thing in the whole world is to capture the connection women and children have with their horses. It's beautiful. It's inspiring, it's emotive and real, and I just LOVE it! I also love real photographs. Photos that will be around long after we are gone. Beautiful photographs that can be handed down as family heirlooms for generations. That's what photography is all about. A photograph, a moment in time. Imagine our life and our history without them? Having beautiful memories in the form of photographic art, is what I specialize in for my clients.
I'm REALLY passionate about what I do and was pretty chuffed to become an accredited member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photographers in early 2015. It was a tough gig, but that made it even more worthwhile. And in 2018, I won the AIPP Victorian pet/Animal professional photographer of the year award. There have been many awards since as I continue to grow and learn and be the best I can possibly be.
My Other Passion…
I also LOVE to teach photography, so i run photographic workshops, equine masterclasses, tutoring and occasional mentoring for photographers. If you would like to learn more about my workshops, please visit my other website www.thefotocreative.com.au
You can give me a call on 0412 942897 anytime, and we can have a chat about your photography needs, whatever they may be. Thanks again for visiting 🙂
